Finding a job during studies can be hard for students, but there are many ways to get a job. Schools can help students to find jobs during their studies. Students can also do part-time jobs, internships and join special work programs. In some countries, students can stay and work after finishing school, which is a great way to start a career.
“I remember discovering my first job on LinkedIn,” says Akashdeep Singh, a SAIT journalism student.

Firstly, getting a good job and learning new skills from the jobs and gain experience and try to grow in careers. Set goals, look for a better job and stay updated on new rules in the country. Some students take extra-skilled courses to find jobs easily. In the end, don’t give up and always try to get a better job.

Overcoming Challenges to Find a Job
Finding a job in a new country is not easy. There are many challenges faced by the international students like understanding job rules and language skills are usually faced by every student. He faced the same problems when coming to Canada for studies.
A good way to find a job he discussed with their teacher for help. I joined a job fair at school and I met a manager. He gave me advice and asked me to apply at stores and warehouses,” says Arshdeep.
After getting the first job, everything started improving. Working part-time helped in learning new skills and gaining experience. Confidence also became stronger.
